Trade Partners,  Cardella Construction Company invites your firm to submit a proposal for the FSU-InSPIRE AM Building in Panama City Beach near the airport. Cardella has entered into a design build agreement with FSU-InSPIRE to design and construction a 50k square foot pre-engineered metal building.  The building will be a single level, slab on grade, building that is primarily set up for future manufacturing.  There will a small admin space with restrooms, a lobby and a classroom. The drawings are currently @ 50% completion.  We are requesting schematic pricing based on the information provided to date.  Final drawings are expected September 23rd and will be issued for final proposals.   As a potential project team member, we are requesting that you provide us with a itemized proposal for the 50% drawings dated 08/06/2026 no later than August 18th, 2026.  Because the drawings are incomplete at this time, please describe any assumptions made in completing the bid. The City of Garland is accepting competitive sealed bids from qualified and experienced utility contractors for the construction of the North Garland Waterline Utility Extension Project.   The project generally consists of furnishing all labor, materials, equipment, superintendence, and incidentals necessary for the installation of water main extensions to improve system capacity, redundancy, and service delivery within the City of Garland. Major components of the work include, but are not limited to: Waterline Installation: Trench excavation, laying, backfilling, and compaction of approximately 200 linear feet of 12-inch PVC (C-900) or Ductile Iron water main. Bored Crossings: Approximately 200 linear feet of 16-inch steel casing pipe installed via horizontal boring under Garland Road. Appurtenances: Installation of gate valves, fire hydrant assemblies, air release valves, and blow-off valve assemblies per City of Garland Standard Details. Service Connections: Reconnection, replacement, or transfer of existing water service lines, meters, and boxes. Ties-ins & Testing: Wet connections to the existing City of Garland water distribution system, hydrostatic pressure testing, chlorination, and bacteriological sampling. Site Restoration: Complete surface restoration, including concrete/asphalt pavement repair, sidewalk replacement, driveways, and hydro-mulch seeding/sodding. Traffic Control & SWPPP: Implementation of a comprehensive Traffic Control Plan (TCP) and Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plan (SWPPP) in compliance with Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ) regulations.
