Pro-Craft Construction, Inc.

Redlands, CA • San Fernando, CA
General Contractor, Specialty Contractor

Fire Suppression, Plumbing, Plumbing Utilities Distribution
Specializing in Complex and Sophisticated Construction Projects Today, Pro-Craft is 200-plus employees strong with a fleet of heavy equipment and 55,000 square feet of facility space in two locations. And, the company now maintains a bonding capacity in excess of $100 million. Pro-Craft has earned a reputation as the go-to contractor for the most complex and sophisticated plumbing, underground utilities and fire protection projects in Southern California. From the start, the company had a stated mission to provide the highest quality of service and craftsmanship delivered with the values of honesty, integrity and professionalism. Tim credits this founding philosophy for the success and longevity of the business. “We make sure our clients know we care about them,” he says. “We stand up to our principles. We do what we say we’re going to do.” Rooted in Family Tim is the first to say he couldn’t have made it alone. From the start, his wife Susan managed the office with daughter Jillian. They continue to serve as CFO and VP of Human Resources. Soon after, son Chris joined the growing company after graduating from the apprenticeship program. All these years later, Chris has played a vital leadership role, spearheading operational excellence initiatives and continuous innovation. He progressed from journeyman to project manager and now serves as President and CEO, taking over for Tim in 2023, while Tim still serves as Chairman of the Board. No matter how much the company has grown, Pro-Craft has always been a family business. And when they say “family” they mean not just the McFayden family but the entire family of employees. Pro-Craft is honored to be a leading sponsor in the plumbing apprenticeship program and fosters a culture for personal development and career growth for its people. “My trade has always been good to my family,” explains Tim. “When I was young, someone took me under his wing. I was taught at a young age to give back, teach people, and mentor people.” Always Moving Forward When you visit the Pro-Craft facilities, you get insight into this innovative operation. From the state-of-art design studio to the onsite fabrication of parts and systems for installation, Pro-Craft is not what you expect when you think “plumbing.” The company is known for its ability to mobilize quickly and efficiently – what they call “Pro-Craft Urgency” – to meet the needs of its General Contractor, owner/developer and public stakeholder clients. Pro-Craft has consistently grown year after year—growth Tim attributes to the leadership of Chris, who is strongly rooted in tradition while keeping a focus on the future. “My dad always taught me we should never rest on our laurels,” says Chris. “We’re proud of what we’ve accomplished and our track record of excellence, but Pro-Craft is about moving forward, always striving to improve and be the best at what we do for our clients, the community and our employees.”

Aquatic Technologies was formed in 1997 through the partnership of three industry professionals, Ken Hart, David Hart and Andy Taylor. Together, they used their industry experience of more than fifty years as the foundation for their new construction company. Ken Hart serves as the Company President and used his years of sales contacts to obtain the initial clients for the newly formed company. David is the Executive Vice President and Andy is the Vice President of Construction. It has always been a priority for the Company to be much more than just a sales office. Aquatic Technologies is a full service commercial pool construction company that can take any size project from conceptual design to the finished product. Aquatic Technologies builds all types of pool and water features, from a small quiet courtyard fountain to a water park complete with slides and all kinds of water toys. Aquatic Technologies employs their own plumbers, electricians, and superintendents who are part of an in-house labor force that is used to insure each of the projects is built to their high standard of quality. According to Andy Taylor, "By having our own crews building the heart of each project we can insure things are built our way, not the easiest way, but the right way." It is this Company mindset that has earned Aquatic Technologies the reputation of putting their clients first and doing what ever it takes to build the project the best possible way. Proudly serving CA, AZ, ID and NV.
